Like its namesake, the Patagonia Men’s Adze Hybrid Hooded Jacket is designed with versatility in mind. We’ve all had those days when its too cold and windy to climb in just a midlayer, but after wearing a hardshell for about ten minutes, you’re sweating through your layers–this is where you need the Adze. Its Polartec Windbloc softshell fabric stops cold and biting winds, but it maintains a high level of breathability, so you can stay on the move without getting drenched with sweat. Stretch side panels provide exceptional mobility, while a helmet-compatible hood and harness-compatible pockets make the jacket fully functional when you’re roped up. The cuffs are designed to stretch over gloves, leaving nothing exposed in alpine environments, and the no-bunch hem is adjusted from inside the handwarmer pockets.
