Usage Tips:
- For hikers wishing to prime the stove without filling the stove completely, place a 11/16 inch "finishing washer", cup-side up, into the center and place a few drops of alcohol into the bowl area. A "finishing washer" (available at any hardware store for about 5 cents) acts as a primer to heat the alcohol and thereby light the stove.
- pour excessive alcohol out by using one of the legs as a spout.
- overfilling the stove will cause a "burping" of alcohol which may lead to spillage and significantly decrease burn time efficiency
- the stove often primes at the crack between top and bottom portion. This will not affect the effectiveness of the stove.
