Valandre Split-S Jacket

Built on a technological foundation earned from years of making expedition gear, the Split-S represents a leap forward in down jacket technology. The natural bend of the human elbow, and cut the fabric of the sleeve to follow. This makes for a more comfortable fit and removes any creases that may compress the down. The area between the arm and torso typically suffers from the arms motion pushing the down away from the torso and inner sleeve – Valandré solved this by adding two vertical compartments on the body side and three on the inner sleeve. These compartments keep the down in place and keep you warm. At the top of the jacket, the fully zipped high collar moulds perfectly around your neck, providing duvet-like comfort. The Split S mixes 32 technical compartments with Jäger Style. Successfully tested and used up to 21,000 feet.
