On foot, bike, hands and feet, or in a kayak you will be creating moisture within your clothing and wanting to carry as little additional weight as possible.

"Outdoor" implies the need for protection against the weather in all its precious forms: wind, rain, sun and snow.

Within its class, all Montane clothing is exceptionally breathable and as lightweight as possible. We can think of no situation in which your outdoor equipment should be heavier rather than lighter.
