From our beginning in 1986, our passion for the outdoors has been revealed in the design and quality of our gear. With an eye on advancements in material and manufacturing technology and an ear for the concerns of the outdoor enthusiast, year after year we design and develop new, innovative products to make your adventure more enjoyable. This is our mission!

Internationally, we are known for our Rock Solid Compression Sacks. In the Midwest, everyone knows our state-of-the-art canoe touring packs and gear. Serious mountaineers and explorers have depended on our extreme weather mitts, gloves and hats for years. Climbers and backcountry skiers have relied on our bombproof mountaineering packs for over ten years.

More recently, we have become known for the breakthrough innovation we developed in backpack design. In 1996 we introduced the first ever 3-D contoured, molded composite framesheet for internal frame backpacks. Based on this framesheet technology, word is spreading that our Cirrus, Stratus and Nimbus backpacks are the most comfortable and effective load carrying systems ever developed.
