Description

The Neutrino series of bags are a range of very lightweight down filled sleeping bags. We use 800 fill power European goose down and we wrap it in very lightweight Pertex Quantum inner and outer fabric. this allows maximum loft for the down for minimum weight. Like the Alpine bags the Neutrino bags have a mummy taper shape that maximises warmth for minimum weight. The bags are handfilled in Derbyshire by our experienced fillers - some of whom have been with Rab for 20years - what they don't know about down isn't worth knowing!

Rab Neutrino 400

I purchased the Rab Neutrino 400 sleeping bag in the spring of 2011 for my new shoulder season sleeping bag. I have been very impressed with the quality, warmth and features of this sleeping bag. I have taken this bag down to 25°F a couple of times with no supplemental clothing and it has kept me plenty warm, I feel 20°F would be a east feat with a light down jacket on. I really like the Pertex Quantum as a face fabric as it gives the bag great water repellent qualities and cuts a couple of ounces off of the bag weight over a typical nylon face fabric. All in all this is a great sleeping bag but a touch heavier than some of the other 20° sleeping bags on the market.
