Staff Comments:
These gloves have seen 25+ days of ice climbing and a few days of skiing this past winter, and are still going strong. I've worked them hard and the craftsmanship scoffs at my efforts to break them. There is some wear on the leather, but I'm surprised at how little. Any other glove would have given up by now, but the Baltoro Softshell's reinforcement patches keep the palms from surrendering to hard rope wear. These have been my go-to gloves this season because of their durability, comfort, and warmth. My hands rarely get cold in the Baltoro and they provide great dexterity, allowing for smooth and easy screw placements. The wrist gauntlet blocks wind and spindrift from entering your sleeve, keeping you dry and warm.
