Whether slipping away for an afternoon hike to a favorite high mountain tarn, bike packing the Colorado Trail, or travelling internationally the fully seam taped Versalite Series could be the ticket at a combined weight of less than 11 ounces. Obviously, with all of the right “measurables”, this raingear is ideally suited for multi-day summer backpacking. We were able to create truly Ultra Light waterproof/breathable garments that don’t skimp on features, yet remain clean and simple in design. An adjustable hood, hem, and cuffs let you tweak the fit on the fly, while pit zips afford extra ventilation when working hard. This is necessary gear for those that prize staying dry, shaving grams, and saving pack space.

I had been on the hunt for a fully featured, fully waterproof, ultralight rain shell for many months. After reading reviews on BPL and watching ProLite Gear's YouTube review of the Versalite, I made my mind up and pulled the trigger on this jacket.
I've used it for two backpacking trips already and have nothing but positive things to say about it. I did get caught in a 20 minute steady rain and was completely dry once the skies cleared. I'd feel confident wearing this jacket in a much longer/stronger storm now.
I weight 185lbs and am right at 5'11". A large fits me perfect!
