Metolius Personal Anchor System

I switched to the Metolius Personal Anchor System from a simple shoulder length sling and now I can't believe I hadn't switched earlier. The PAS let's you clip into an anchor quickly and then adjust your position once you're secured, and not have the worries associated with daisychains. It's great for multipitch routes because you can set an anchor for belaying the second, then adjust your position again once the second reaches the anchor and never unclip! You can also remove your pack and clip it to a loop in the middle. Never worry about dropping gear between pitches again! The differently colored end loop is helpful to quickly identify and grab the end for clipping.
