Description

The only ice screw with a hanger that spins independently of the shaft allowing for maximum screw penetration and optimal hanger placement. Color-coded Dyneema slings offer two clipping positions and reduce the impact load on the screw in the case of a fall. Made from NiCrMo steel. Meticulously buffed and sharpened for fast and easy placements and extraction. Available in 3 sizes.

Application notes regarding Cassin Radion Ice Screw

This the best racking screw on the planet. You can pre-clip draws to the screw. So they rack like you would rack cams. With the independent hanger you can pre-clip the rope before you start placing the screw. That way if you do drop the screw it won't be lost forever. These place like a hot knife through butter. There is a link on the forums to us placing a screw in virgin ice. Take a look.
