Application notes regarding CAMP Corsa

Staff comments: This the lightest axe ever. The 5ocm is my favorite simply because it is lighter and there is no plug in the bottom. The longer axes have a plug. Without the plug you can use the axes as a great high strength tent stake in the winter, or a low strength snow picket. I mean the axe is fully b rated.

I think mine is an earlier model but it looks similar and the weight is similar. I have used this successfully in an emergency arrest and it works fine. I take it along even when I don't think I'm going to need it because it is so light and I have been glad to have it more than a couple of times. However, when I tried to chop steps in firm snow and ice it lacked the momentum (weight) to do an adequate job.
